Pray Luke 4:18 // HEAL THE SICK

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, To set at liberty those who are oppressed…” Luke 4:18
While many spiritualize this verse to mean “the spiritually blind,” we know that Jesus literally opened blind eyes! Yes, he opens spiritually blind eyes but we know that this is a reference to physical issues being healed in this passage. Simply put, healing the sick was a major part of Jesus’ mission on earth.
As we pray for Luke 4:18 to be released in full power on the earth, we must pray that Jesus will “stretch forth His hand to heal” as the disciples prayed in Acts 4:30.
During our 2019 intercession tour of 10 stadiums in 10 coastal cities of California, we prayed at the coliseum in San Diego. While praying and anointing the stadium, one of our intercessors had a vision of empty wheelchairs stacked as high as the stadium. These wheelchairs had been discarded because of the mass amount of healings taking place! I believe those days are coming, where people from all over the world will flock to the body of Christ (like they did to Jesus) and be healed of ALL of their diseases!
Stadiums will be filled with unbelievers receiving Jesus, being delivered and HEALED!!!
Prayer:
Jesus, you are the Great Physician! Stretch forth your hand to heal the sick like never before. Use us to empty hospitals. In every tent during Hope California, heal the sick- every disease, injury and issue! Open the eyes of the blind. Raise the dead through us, in Jesus’ name!
