The Sun Is Rising Over California

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12
In 2018, when I had the 10/10 vision along the Coast of California, I saw the sun rising over the West Coast and heard the words, “The Dawning.” I knew that there was a great glory awakening that would begin on the West Coast.
California has the reputation for being one of the darkest places on earth. In fact, many have predicted that California someday will be swept away into the ocean as judgement for it’s rebellion. I believe there is HOPE for California! The glory of the Lord is beginning to rise over the Golden State again. This glory is the Son of God, Jesus Christ, rising over California. It’s the sons of God “arising and shining” in California as in Isaiah 60, taking the love and good news of Jesus to the hopeless.
In Acts 7 & 8, Saul of Tarsus was an enemy to the New Testament church and was actively spearheading the greatest organized governmental persecution of Christians in his time. While he was on his way to Damascus to round up and imprison more Jesus followers, suddenly a bright light appeared to him.
“As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” 5 “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. 6 “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” Acts 9:3-6
Saul’s entire life was changed with just one encounter with the Glorious Sun (Son) of God!! Not long after, Saul became Paul, bearing the torch of Jesus and reflecting the light of Jesus to a dark Gentile world. The man who once persecuted the church became the greatest missionary of his day!
What California needs is an encounter with the Glorious Son of God and the blazing loving eyes of Jesus. What California needs is the sons of God to arise and shine! We carry the hope of glory within us…
“To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27
Pray:
– Pray that Jesus will personally encounter every person in California. That He would open blind eyes and that they would have “ah ha” moments, realizing that Jesus is the way.
– Pray that the sons of God will arise and share the Gospel to every person in California!
– Pray for the hard hearted unbeliever you know… the atheist, the one who is persecuting Christians. Pray that they will have a Paul-like encounter, and be changed in one encounter with Jesus!
– Pray for a multitude of harvesters (missionaries) to be harvested in California, like Paul!
